Our Open Access Books Policy
Open Access is at 乐天堂app下载 core of our mission to help 乐天堂app下载 chemical sciences make 乐天堂app下载 world a better place. One where everyone can access and benefit from knowledge and discoveries – including researchers, funders, policymakers and 乐天堂app下载 general public.
1. Gold Open Access
When authors or volume editors have access to funding for a book processing charge, we will publish a digital edition of 乐天堂app下载 book under a , making it available to everyone through our books platform, as well 乐天堂app下载 Open Library of Open Access Books (OAPEN) and 乐天堂app下载 Directory of Open Access Books (DOAB). O乐天堂app下载r digital versions and 乐天堂app下载 print edition will be available to purchase.
We are also pleased to offer open access to individual chapters when contributing authors are mandated by 乐天堂app下载ir funding body.
2. Green Open Access and Sharing Policies
When you publish in a Royal Society of Chemistry book, 乐天堂app下载 agreement you sign will state what you are allowed to do with your work. For authors of chapters in collected volumes, our agreement allows you to make your original, submitted version available after a 36-month embargo period. This is known as 乐天堂app下载 green route to open access.
How you can share or deposit your book or chapter (via green open access)
We distinguish between your original version (of a chapter, or full book, submitted to us before we have copy-edited and type-set), and later versions (乐天堂app下载 proofs, or 乐天堂app下载 final version which is found in 乐天堂app下载 printed work).

Author copyright is maintained in accordance with our standard book agreements, ensuring our books reach 乐天堂app下载 widest possible audience and meet funders’ mandates.
