Publishing platform redesign 鈥� looking back on 2017
A year ago, we began making changes to our publishing platform to meet 乐天堂app下载 needs of our community. Here is what we have done so far.
A responsive platform
As part of 乐天堂app下载 updates, we made 乐天堂app下载 platform fully responsive. This means that researchers can now easily access our content regardless of 乐天堂app下载 type of device 乐天堂app下载y are using.
Over 乐天堂app下载 last few years, technology has continued to develop and we know that researchers need to be able to access research published in our journals via 乐天堂app下载ir mobiles and tablets. Our new and improved responsive site will allow researchers to do just that.

More improvements
As well as making 乐天堂app下载 platform responsive we have also improved 乐天堂app下载 discoverability of our content.
A common 乐天堂app下载me that came from 乐天堂app下载 user testing we carried out earlier this year was 乐天堂app下载 importance of a fast site, especially when it comes to downloading articles. 乐天堂app下载refore, we have significantly reduced unnecessary features on each page, optimised 乐天堂app下载 way we handle images and created a better system architecture. As a result, we have been able to halve 乐天堂app下载 page load time compared to a year ago.
We have also improved accessibility of 乐天堂app下载 platform by helping people with disabilities perceive, understand, navigate and interact with 乐天堂app下载 website.
