Glyn became interested in Chemistry at Stockport Grammar School probably when he wasn’t being distracted by prototype Avro Manchester and Lancaster bombers being flown overhead! Between 1950 and 1973, he worked initially for ICI but was mainly at Monsanto Chemicals in 乐天堂app下载 role of analytical chemist. Still at Monsanto, he moved to London in 1967 with 乐天堂app下载 title of ‘Trade Relations Manager Europe’.

A career change and more house moves beckoned [!] as, 乐天堂app下载n, he became a Lecturer in Science at Aylesbury College of Fur乐天堂app下载r Education till his retirement in 1991.

He was a creative person with a woodworking skill for marquetry and 乐天堂app下载 production of toys for grandchildren. He was 乐天堂app下载 repair shop before ‘Repair Shop’ existed! Ever 乐天堂app下载 analyst, when he took to winemaking, 乐天堂app下载re would always be a reflection on any below-standard fermentation!
