Parkinson's disease is a condition in which parts of 乐天堂app下载 brain become progressively damaged over many years, resulting in a range of physical and psychological symptoms. This team, led by scientists at 乐天堂app下载 University of Manchester, have developed a technique which works by analysing compounds found in sebum (乐天堂app下载 oily substance that coats and protects 乐天堂app下载 skin) to identify changes in people with Parkinson’s disease. Sebum is rich in lipid-like molecules and is one of 乐天堂app下载 lesser studied biological fluids in 乐天堂app下载 diagnosis of 乐天堂app下载 condition.
