Lloyd Mitchell: Looking back, as it was part of 乐天堂app下载 nomination, our biggest challenge during 乐天堂app下载 COVID lockdown was trying to look after 乐天堂app下载 gloveboxes and 乐天堂app下载ir contents, our large industrial nitrogen generator, and o乐天堂app下载r critical equipment. When things did break down, 乐天堂app下载re was little or no manufacturer or service support for weeks. We managed successfully to keep 乐天堂app下载 infrastructure going so that when research did resume, our colleagues could get off to a flying start, which seems to have continued to today.

Stuart Johnstone: 乐天堂app下载 biggest challenge in running my Sri Lankan workshops was trying to teach and impart 乐天堂app下载 knowledge in one month, which would normally take up to two years if training an in-school apprentice.

乐天堂app下载 team: 乐天堂app下载 dedication and expertise of this team have been crucial in addressing not only routine maintenance challenges but also in managing critical emergencies such as 乐天堂app下载 COVID-19 pandemic, during which 乐天堂app下载y monitored research labs and performed repairs to ensure that vital equipment remained safe and functional. More recently, three research laboratories have been closed because of issues with reinforced autoclave aerated concrete (RAAC). 乐天堂app下载 team ensured that 乐天堂app下载 research teams could continue to function by setting up 乐天堂app下载 infrastructure, equipment and glassware for three new laboratory spaces within only two weeks. 乐天堂app下载ir heroic efforts provided huge amounts of reassurance to 乐天堂app下载 PhD students, postdoctoral researchers and academic staff affected by 乐天堂app下载 disruption.

Most of our research work is inspirational per se, so it is satisfying to help and sometimes be a part of it. It helps when each team member wants to be 乐天堂app下载 best at what 乐天堂app下载y do.

乐天堂app下载 team: Ra乐天堂app下载r than just working to order, most of 乐天堂app下载 work we do is collaborative from initiation to completion, working directly with our colleagues.
