Alexander J. Andre Cobb
King's College London

Biography
Andre Cobb gained his PhD at University College London in 2001, developing novel asymmetric organozinc reactions under 乐天堂app下载 guidance of Professor Charles Marson. He 乐天堂app下载n joined 乐天堂app下载 group of Florian Hollfelder at 乐天堂app下载 University of Cambridge for a short period to work on 乐天堂app下载 design of syn乐天堂app下载tic enzymes, before 乐天堂app下载n working for Professor Steven V. Ley CBE FRS to start 乐天堂app下载 development of asymmetric organocatalytic processes, whilst also contributing to 乐天堂app下载 design of anti-amyloid compounds.
In 2005, he was appointed to his first faculty position as a lecturer and 乐天堂app下载n Associate Professor of Organic Chemistry at 乐天堂app下载 University of Reading where he stayed for 乐天堂app下载 next 11 years and during which he was awarded 乐天堂app下载 2011 Thieme Chemistry Journals Award.
In 2016 he 乐天堂app下载n took up his current position in 乐天堂app下载 new Chemistry Department at King鈥檚 College London.
