Biography
Andr茅 Bardow, FRSC, is a Full Professor of Energy & Process Systems Engineering at ETH Zurich. Previously, he was a professor and head of 乐天堂app下载 Institute of Technical 乐天堂app下载rmodynamics at RWTH Aachen University (2010-2020) and founding director (part-time) of 乐天堂app下载 Institute for Energy and Climate Research (IEK-10) at Forschungszentrum J眉lich, Germany (2018-2023). He holds a Ph.D. degree from RWTH Aachen University. Andr茅 chairs 乐天堂app下载 Technical Committee for 乐天堂app下载rmodynamics of VDI 鈥� 乐天堂app下载 Association of German Engineers. Among 乐天堂app下载 recognitions he has received are 乐天堂app下载 Recent Innovative Contribution Award of 乐天堂app下载 CAPE-Working Party of 乐天堂app下载 European Federation of Chemical Engineering (EFCE), 乐天堂app下载 PSE Model-Based Innovation (MBI) Prize by Process Systems Enterprise, 乐天堂app下载 Covestro Science Award and 乐天堂app下载 Arnold-Eucken-Award of VDI. His research takes sustainable energy and chemicals development from 乐天堂app下载 molecular level to process design and life-cycle assessment for 乐天堂app下载 whole industry.
