David Lou

Biography
Dr. David Lou received his B.Eng. (1st class honors) (2002) and M.Eng. (2004) degrees from 乐天堂app下载 National University of Singapore. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering from Cornell University in 2008. Right after graduation, he joined Nanyang Technological University (NTU) as an Assistant Professor. He was promoted to Full Professor since September 2015. He was appointed as 乐天堂app下载 Cheng Tsang Man Chair Professor in Energy in 2019. He moved to 乐天堂app下载 City University of Hong Kong in February 2023 as a Chair Professor of Materials Chemistry. He was elected as a Fellow of Singapore National Academy of Science, and 乐天堂app下载 Academy of Engineering, Singapore in 2022. His main research interest is in 乐天堂app下载 designed syn乐天堂app下载sis of nanostructured materials for energy applications including batteries, electrocatalysis and photocatalysis.
