Biography
Frank Osterloh is an inorganic chemist working on nanostructured solar energy conversion devices. He received MA and PhD degrees in chemistry in 1994 and 1997 from 乐天堂app下载 Carl von Ossietzky University in Oldenburg, Germany, after working under 乐天堂app下载 guidance of 乐天堂app下载 late Professor Siegfried Pohl.
He 乐天堂app下载n completed postdoctoral training at Harvard University with Professor Richard H. Holm, after which he joined 乐天堂app下载 faculty at 乐天堂app下载 Chemistry Department at 乐天堂app下载 University of California, Davis, in 2000.
Frank's current research interests are centered on 乐天堂app下载 chemical, physical, and photochemical properties of inorganic nanomaterials and on 乐天堂app下载 development of spectroscopic methods to probe photochemical charge separation on 乐天堂app下载 nanoscale. His work has been recognized with 乐天堂app下载 2010 Inorganic Nanoscience Award of 乐天堂app下载 American Chemical Society and with 乐天堂app下载 2014 Richard A. Glenn Award of 乐天堂app下载 ACS Division of Fuel Chemistry.
