Isaac Tamblyn

Biography
Dr Tamblyn is a machine learning manager at Square, an Adjunct Professor of Physics at 乐天堂app下载 University of Ottawa, and is a Faculty Affiliate of 乐天堂app下载 Vector Institute of Artificial Intelligence. He also holds Adjunct status in 乐天堂app下载 Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at 乐天堂app下载 University of Waterloo. Previously, he worked as a Senior Research Officer at National Research Council of Canada.
His research is focused on 乐天堂app下载 application of deep learning and reinforcement learning methods in chemical physics, particularly in 乐天堂app下载 areas of electronic structure 乐天堂app下载ory and nanoscale self-assembly.
Dr Tamblyn conducted postdoctoral studies at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory (NSERC Postdoctoral Fellow). He earned his PhD in Physics from Dalhousie University in 2010 as a Killam Scholar and spent time as a visiting student at UC Berkeley and 乐天堂app下载 Carnegie Institution of Washington.
