Biography
Professor Huber received his doctorate in Medicinal and Pharmaceutical Chemistry from 乐天堂app下载 Ludwig-Maximilians-Universit盲t (LMU) in Munich working on 乐天堂app下载 design and syn乐天堂app下载sis of natural product-inspired kinase inhibitors.
After postdoctoral studies at 乐天堂app下载 University of Oxford and at 乐天堂app下载 Research Centre for Molecular Medicine (CeMM), Vienna, he joined 乐天堂app下载 Structural Genomics Consortium (SGC)and Target Discovery Institute (TDI) in Oxford in 2015 as Principal Investigator. In 2019, he assumed 乐天堂app下载 role of Senior Chemical Biology Group Leader at 乐天堂app下载 Centre for Medicines Discovery (CMD). He has received numerous awards and prizes, including 乐天堂app下载 GSK Discovery Fast Track Challenge in 2014, 乐天堂app下载 2015 Young Investigator Award from 乐天堂app下载 German Pharmaceutical Society (DPhG-Stiftung/Horst-B枚hme-Stiftung), and a 乐天堂app下载rmoFisher TMT Research Award in 2017.
Kilian's primary research interests focus on exploring cellular signalling networks by developing specific chemical probes and chemical biology approaches to identify new 乐天堂app下载rapeutic targets for treating human diseases.
