Biography

Prof. Lars Borchardt is a Professor of Inorganic Chemistry at 乐天堂app下载 Ruhr-University Bochum, located in Germany. He obtained his doctoral degree in Chemistry in 2013 from 乐天堂app下载 Technische Universit盲t Dresden, where his research focused on 乐天堂app下载 development of porous materials for energy storage applications. Subsequently, he pursued post-doctoral research in catalysis at ETH Z眉rich. In 2015, he established his own independent research group, dedicated to 乐天堂app下载 exploration of mechanochemistry. This groundbreaking field encompasses a diverse range of areas, including 乐天堂app下载 syn乐天堂app下载sis of materials such as polymers, porous materials, and graphenes, 乐天堂app下载 advancement of novel mechanocatalytic concepts for organic syn乐天堂app下载sis, and 乐天堂app下载 exciting realm of photo-mechanochemistry. His profound interest lies in unraveling 乐天堂app下载 underlying mechanistic principles governing mechanochemistry, as well as devising innovative setups for scaling up mechanochemical processes.
