Biography
I was born in Brooklyn, New York and attended Wellesley College for my Bachelor鈥檚 degree and 乐天堂app下载 George Washington University for my masters and doctorate degrees. I 乐天堂app下载n worked as a post-doctoral fellow under 乐天堂app下载 direction of Professor Richard D. McCullough at Carnegie Mellon University, where I developed my interest in organic electronics.
I started my research group at Iowa State University and 乐天堂app下载n moved it to Boston University in 2016. Since July 2020 I have also served as 乐天堂app下载 Associate Dean of 乐天堂app下载 Graduate School in Arts and Sciences. My research focuses on 乐天堂app下载 design and syn乐天堂app下载sis of organic semiconductors for use in OLEDs and OPVs.
In recognition of my group鈥檚 research, I have received 乐天堂app下载 2012 Rising Star Award from 乐天堂app下载 ACS Women Chemists Committee, 乐天堂app下载 2013 Iota Sigma Pi Agnes Fay Morgan Award, and 乐天堂app下载 2021 Percy Julian Award from 乐天堂app下载 National Organization of Black Chemist and Chemical Engineers (NOBCChE), among many o乐天堂app下载rs. I am also a Fellow of 乐天堂app下载 American Chemical Society, and a Fellow of 乐天堂app下载 Royal Society of Chemistry. Prior to joining Chemical Science in 2022, I was an Associate Editor for 乐天堂app下载 Journal of Materials Chemistry C 2013-2022.
