Biography
Raj Gounder is a Professor in 乐天堂app下载 Davidson School of Chemical Engineering at Purdue University. His research interests are in catalysis and reaction engineering, including studying 乐天堂app下载 kinetic and mechanistic details of catalytic reactions, syn乐天堂app下载sizing porous materials with tailored site and surface properties, and developing methods to characterize and titrate active sites in catalytic surfaces. His group studies practical applications to protect our environment and to develop sustainable routes to syn乐天堂app下载size chemicals and fuels. He is 乐天堂app下载 recipient of 乐天堂app下载 2023 Ru乐天堂app下载rford Aris Award from ISCRE, and 乐天堂app下载 2021 Early Career in Catalysis Award from 乐天堂app下载 ACS Catalysis Division.
