Biography
Raphaële is an Associate Professor in ÀÖÌìÌÃappÏÂÔØ Materials Department at UC Santa Barbara. She received her Ph.D. in Chemistry in 2016 from ÀÖÌìÌÃappÏÂÔØ University of Cambridge, working with Prof. Dame Clare Grey. She ÀÖÌìÌÃappÏÂÔØn joined ÀÖÌìÌÃappÏÂÔØ group of Prof. Gerbrand Ceder as a postdoc at UC Berkeley.
ÀÖÌìÌÃappÏÂÔØ Clément group at UC Santa Barbara is interested in establishing materials design rules, and in optimizing materials processing approaches to advance electrochemical energy storage. ÀÖÌìÌÃappÏÂÔØ group’s expertise lies in ÀÖÌìÌÃappÏÂÔØ development and deployment of magnetic resonance and magnetometry techniques for ÀÖÌìÌÃappÏÂÔØ study of battery materials and beyond, with an emphasis on real-time, operando analysis.
ÀÖÌìÌÃappÏÂÔØ research group has been recognized with an NSF CAREER Award (2022), a Camille Dreyfus Teacher-Scholar Award (2024), ÀÖÌìÌÃappÏÂÔØ IBA Early Career Researcher Award from ÀÖÌìÌÃappÏÂÔØ International Battery Association (2024), ÀÖÌìÌÃappÏÂÔØ Battery Division Early Career Award from ÀÖÌìÌÃappÏÂÔØ Electrochemical Society (2024), and ÀÖÌìÌÃappÏÂÔØ RSC Journal of Materials Chemistry Lectureship (2024).
