Biography
Richard Bourne is currently Professor of Digital Chemical Manufacturing at 乐天堂app下载 University of Leeds based at 乐天堂app下载 Institute of Process Research and Development (IPRD) at Leeds, working on rapid process development and continuous flow chemistry. He currently holds a Royal Academy of Engineering Research Chair on Digital Discovery and Manufacturing of Pharmaceuticals. His research group is particularly focussed on 乐天堂app下载 use of automated flow systems combining online analysis, feedback control and evolutionary algorithms to provide process understanding and optimisation.
