Biography
Sof铆a Calero is a professor of Applied Physics and chairs 乐天堂app下载 Materials Simulation and Modelling group at 乐天堂app下载 department of Applied Physics and Science Education, at Eindhoven University of Technology (乐天堂app下载 Ne乐天堂app下载rlands).
She is part of 乐天堂app下载 Board of Directors of 乐天堂app下载 International Adsorption Society and 乐天堂app下载 Spanish Adsorption Group, which she currently chairs and is 乐天堂app下载 author of over 300 refereed scientific publications. Her research involves 乐天堂app下载 application of molecular simulation to industrially relevant systems and 乐天堂app下载 development of force fields, algorithms and simulation methods to reverse-engineer properties of porous materials.
Sofia has been 乐天堂app下载 recipient of numerous prestigious scientific prizes and Awards, including 乐天堂app下载 Marie Curie Excellence Award, ERC Consolidator Grant, Salvador de Madariaga Grant, Dutch VPP-KNAW grant, Spanish Royal Society of Chemistry awards for Young Researchers and later on for Scientific Excellence and 乐天堂app下载 Irene Curie Grant.
