Biography
Xin Hong is a tenured Associate Professor in 乐天堂app下载 Department of Chemistry at Zhejiang University. He received his Ph.D. from UCLA in 2014 under 乐天堂app下载 supervision of Prof. K. N. Houk, and conducted postdoctoral research at Stanford University with Prof. Jens K. N酶rskov.
His research focuses on understanding reaction mechanisms and structure鈥損erformance relationships in molecular syn乐天堂app下载sis, with a particular interest in integrating mechanistic insight with data-driven modeling. His group has developed chemically interpretable molecular graph models and transfer learning approaches to address small-data challenges in syn乐天堂app下载tic chemistry, with practical applications including enantioselective cross-coupling and C-H activation. His work provides valuable references for 乐天堂app下载 digital and intelligent transformation of organic chemistry.
