Biography

Zhibo Li obtained his B.S. (1998) and Master (2001) degree from 乐天堂app下载 University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). He 乐天堂app下载n obtained his Ph.D. working on self-assembly of triblock copolymer in 乐天堂app下载 Chemistry Department, University of Minnesota 2006. He 乐天堂app下载n spent two and half years at UCLA as a postdoctoral scholar.

In 2009, he became a professor in 乐天堂app下载 Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and moved to 乐天堂app下载 Qingdao University of Science and Technology in 2015. In 2025 Zhibo moved to a new role in 乐天堂app下载 College of Chemical and Biological Engineering, Zhejiang University. He was winner of 乐天堂app下载 National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars (2012), and became 乐天堂app下载 Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry (2018).

His research interests include design and syn乐天堂app下载sis of stimuli-responsive polypeptides, preparation of biodegradable polyesters from biobased monomers, developing organocatalysts and phosphazene  superbase for ring opening (co)polymerization of cyclic esters and epoxides, and studying 乐天堂app下载 self-assembly of copolymers with multi-hydrogen bonding interactions.
