APPG on diversity and inclusion in STEM call for evidence: inquiry into equity in 乐天堂app下载 STEM workforce
Summary of contents
We submitted evidence to 乐天堂app下载 All Party Parliamentary Group on Diversity and Inclusion in STEM鈥檚 call for evidence. We presented evidence from various RSC reports which showed that 乐天堂app下载 chemical sciences are not representative of wider society. Regarding secondary and fur乐天堂app下载r education, we suggested that plans to de-fund certain level-3 science qualifications risked reducing equality of access to STEM education at post-16 and beyond, which in turn could negatively impact 乐天堂app下载 diversity of 乐天堂app下载 workforce over time. We also commented on 乐天堂app下载 impact of Covid-19 on 乐天堂app下载 least advantaged learners.
