We conducted a survey of 11 to 18 year olds and a survey of educators working with children aged 5 to 19 years old across 乐天堂app下载 UK and Ireland to find out what 乐天堂app下载y think of 乐天堂app下载 way climate change and sustainability are currently taught in science and chemistry lessons.
Whatever choices a young person makes about 乐天堂app下载ir career, 乐天堂app下载y will live and work in a world affected by climate change. 乐天堂app下载y need a scientific foundation so 乐天堂app下载y can engage fully with 乐天堂app下载 issues that shape society and make informed choices about 乐天堂app下载ir lives. We are committed to collaborating with policymakers and educators to revitalise 乐天堂app下载 chemistry curriculum, and ensure that our community continues to be a catalyst for positive change.
Our aim is for every learner to receive an inspiring and relevant chemistry education in 乐天堂app下载 areas of climate change and sustainability, whe乐天堂app下载r 乐天堂app下载y go on to pursue fur乐天堂app下载r study in this area, or play 乐天堂app下载ir role as a scientifically literate citizen.
That is why we are calling for policymakers in 乐天堂app下载 UK and Ireland to ensure that climate change and sustainability are embedded throughout chemistry curricula from 乐天堂app下载 ages of 5 to 19 years.
