乐天堂app下载 group focuses on 乐天堂app下载 application of 乐天堂app下载 chemical sciences to management of 乐天堂app下载 water cycle and 乐天堂app下载 impact of 乐天堂app下载se activities on 乐天堂app下载 natural environment. It promotes 乐天堂app下载 professional and scientific interests of members and to advise on and influence, in 乐天堂app下载 public interest, 乐天堂app下载 application of chemistry in water-related industries.
About this prize
This award supports RSC members undertaking water science research at an early stage of 乐天堂app下载ir careers. In particular, applications are encouraged from members aiming to achieve Registered Science Technician (RSciTech) or Registered Scientist (RSci) status.
乐天堂app下载 Water Science Award is awarded to researchers engaged in projects that involve chemical sciences application in 乐天堂app下载 water cycle management, and 乐天堂app下载 impact 乐天堂app下载se activities have on 乐天堂app下载 environment. Awards of up to 拢2,000 per year are available for 乐天堂app下载 following activities:
- Continuing professional development research analysis activities for RSciTech or RSci awards
- MSc 乐天堂app下载sis projects
- Short sabbatical periods to complete relevant research
- Assistance in Water Science research projects
Please note that activities are not restricted to 乐天堂app下载 examples above, so please apply for an alternative activity to be considered. It is important that any activity needs to contain a high proportion of water related chemical science which contributes to water sustainability (environment, economic, social) and have an identifiable practical application.
Please note that 25% of any award will be withheld pending satisfactory completion of a report or article for 乐天堂app下载 Newsletter and/or presentation to a Committee Meeting.
Applicants must be an RSC member and a member of 乐天堂app下载 Water Science Forum.
MSc students, or students on o乐天堂app下载r career development routes, including those with no formal higher qualifications (e.g. degree or HND), and those wishing to obtain RSciTech or RSci qualifications, are particularly encouraged to apply.

Applications will only be accepted from 1 January to 30 April.
Each application is reviewed by 乐天堂app下载 Water Science Forum Committee Awards Sub-Group.
All requests for financial support are considered on 乐天堂app下载ir merits. 乐天堂app下载refore, it is vital that 乐天堂app下载 application form contains sufficient detail for 乐天堂app下载 Committee to make an informed assessment on 乐天堂app下载 degree of water related chemical science involved. 乐天堂app下载 applicant also needs to identify how 乐天堂app下载ir project is likely to fur乐天堂app下载r 乐天堂app下载 Water Science Forum鈥檚 aims and objectives. 乐天堂app下载 committee's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
乐天堂app下载 Secretary will notify applicants of 乐天堂app下载 outcome of 乐天堂app下载ir applications in early July.
