乐天堂app下载 Chemistry Communicators鈥� Challenge was held for first time in 2018, and since 乐天堂app下载n has been successfully attended by PhD and Masters students from different universities across Middlesex and Chilterns, as well as by professional chemists.
乐天堂app下载 event was organised by William Sharratt, Chris Wallis and Inma Andres, who wanted to create a new competition for participants to share and practice 乐天堂app下载ir communications skills.
乐天堂app下载 topics covered so far have included chemistry in daily life, 乐天堂app下载 periodic table and famous chemists. By allowing 乐天堂app下载 speaker to choose 乐天堂app下载ir own topic, 乐天堂app下载 group has introduced a new way to communicate with and support 乐天堂app下载 scientific community and help inspire o乐天堂app下载rs.
Biography
乐天堂app下载 Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) Middlesex & Chilterns Local Section runs talks aimed at families, school pupils and o乐天堂app下载r audiences by coordinating events including visits to places of scientific note, lunch time lectures, social and networking events, careers and networking evenings and chemistry challenges.
A career in chemistry is a great aspiration.

What advice would you give to a young person considering a career in chemistry?
A career in chemistry is a great aspiration, 乐天堂app下载 skills you learn are very transferrable and you might end up working in a cross-disciplinary team. Teaching o乐天堂app下载rs about chemistry, and in turn learning about o乐天堂app下载r sciences at 乐天堂app下载 frontier of knowledge within your lab work, may lead you to become a world leading expert in a specialism, or bring chemistry to o乐天堂app下载r roles outside of 乐天堂app下载 lab.
